Jim Hedrick readies chain hoist to lift the Arctic HSRL to the roof of the
Space Science Building where it will be located in the penthouse under a roof
window. This new location will allow us to begin atmospheric testing. (click on image to enlage)
The base containing the laser water chiller and lidar electronics is lifted to the roof. (click

The temperature controlled box which contains the laser and most of the system optics is hoisted to the roof. It is 1/4" longer than the roof hatch so that it
must be hoisted at an angle.
