NOTE: Two horizontal lines at about 300 m show signals from calibration system used for monitoring system performance during operation. -------------------- SATELLITE IMAGES ------------------------------------- Each HSRL image directory has also GOES-8 infrared channel (4) gif-images for the experiment. These pictures were produced with McIdas data system and the corresponding data is stored for further analysis. Files are named as g8_MMDDYY_HHMM.gif Directory pub/wisconsin/goes8 consists of latest GOES-8 imagery. Images are originally grabbed from anonymous ftp-account on ftp.ssec.wisc.edu directory gopher/gsdc.d/realtime-8.d and cut to show surroundings of Wisconsin only. All still-images are in PGM-format and compressed with UNIX compress program. All movie loops are MPEG-files.
